DIY MDF Geode art panel

Updated: Apr 2, 2021

Ok so I've never been a power tools girl. Not that I can't use them just that I find them to be intimidating. So I've had to overcome that bit of fear to do this next part. Using saws. I'm lucky that my father in law has a table saw so I could cut down the boards into smaller workable pieces. Then from there I draw a design and cut it out using a jigsaw.

What you will need.

MDF board-. I used 1/2" depth

A table saw- or someone you know who has one.

A design in mind drawn onto your board

Clamps- to hold your board in place while you cut

A jigsaw from your local hardware store or Amazon.

A table or sawhorse- to clamp your wood down to.

Now you are ready! Measure and cut your board to whatever size you want your piece to be and draw a design cut it out and Voila! A custom wood board for your geode art.

Not a DIY person hey! that's OK! There are other people out there who will do that for you..

@counterculturediy has you covered with their mdf pre cut boards. I've ordered and used them and they are fantastic.

THIS POST MAY CONTAIN AFFILIATE LINKS. THAT MEANS IF YOU USE THEM TO MAKE A PURCHASE (AT NO EXTRA COST TO YOU) I MIGHT EARN MONEY FROM THAT FOR MY NEXT PROJECT
